Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Houston Astros Needlepoint Key Fob?

This key fob is a compact, hand-finished accessory that holds your keys on a sturdy metal split ring. It is sized to sit comfortably in a pocket or clip to a bag, adding color and a bit of personality to your everyday carry.

What materials is this key fob made from?

It is built from hand-stitched needlepoint over full grain, vegetable tanned Italian leather, with a metal split ring for your keys. The needlepoint face is durable and colorful while the leather backing adds structure and ages handsomely with everyday handling.

What does the design look like?

The needlepoint face carries a pro baseball team-spirit motif worked in the club colors, set over a full grain leather backing. The hand-stitched detail gives it a crafted look that stands out from printed or molded keychains.

How can I use or style this key fob?

Clip your house and car keys onto the split ring and the leather tab makes them easy to find at the bottom of a bag or pocket. It also loops neatly onto a belt loop or a zipper pull, and adds a personal touch to a backpack or weekender.

How do I care for this key fob?

Spot clean the needlepoint gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a touch of mild soap, then let it air dry away from direct heat. Never soak it or put it in the washing machine. Condition the leather now and then so it stays supple, and store it somewhere dry.

When is this key fob a good pick or gift?

It is an easy way to carry a little team-spirit every day, and it makes a thoughtful gift for the baseball fan who appreciates well-made accessories. Good for birthdays, holidays, or a season opener treat.
