Frequently Asked Questions

What is ONCEPT known for?

ONCEPT designs sustainability-minded footwear with a retro, court-inspired sensibility. The line pairs heritage silhouettes with eco-conscious construction, using recycled and responsibly chosen materials across its sneakers and seasonal knitwear.

What materials does ONCEPT use?

Expect thoughtfully sourced materials: leather and chromefree suede, recycled nylon, Tencel pulp-based twill linings, molded recycled bio-density footbeds, and organic cotton laces. Select styles add Italian nubuck, memory-foam footbeds, or a water-resistant upper.

Does ONCEPT make both men's and women's styles?

Yes. ONCEPT offers women's and men's footwear, including shared silhouettes like the court-inspired Phoenix and Fez, alongside a small range of women's seasonal knitwear such as sweaters and a fleece pullover.

How do ONCEPT sneakers fit?

Most ONCEPT sneakers follow a classic court fit and run true to size, so start with your usual size. Reviewers often find them true or a touch roomy, so if you are between sizes, your size or a half down works well; several styles also have removable footbeds for a custom feel.

What styles does ONCEPT offer?

The range spans court sneakers like the Phoenix and Fez, the platform Osaka trainer, lightweight hybrids and runners like the Toronto and Reno, and the soft suede Essex. Cooler-weather pieces include wool-blend sweaters and a cozy fleece pullover.

How do I care for my ONCEPT pieces?

For leather and suede sneakers, wipe with a soft damp cloth, brush suede or nubuck to keep the nap, air-dry away from heat, and condition leather occasionally. For wool-blend knits, hand wash cold or use a gentle cycle and lay flat to dry.
