In 2004, two roommates at Bowdoin College decided to create a needlepoint belt company after being gifted needlepoint belts by their girlfriends. After trying to find fully finished needlepoint belts in the retail space, they realized that there was a gap that they could fill. Their goal was to make the belts much more available, while being attractive and affordable. They now offer needlepoint products for more than just belts and have grown to produce products for many of the nation's best colleges and MLB teams.
