I’ve only owned Smith helmets. I believe it was the vantage I had previously. Although this helmet is not what I would consider “low profile,” and not as low profile as the vantage, it definitely feels very well constructed, is warm, has vents, and is adjustable to fit just right (assuming you order the right size). St. Bernard shipped promptly and well packaged, and for an unbeatable price, as usual. Would recommend!

I previously have been using the Smith Level Mips, and decided to upgrade to the Nexus. First impression is that this is definitely an upgrade all-around. Note that it does run a bit larger than the Level/Vantage, but not enough to make me personally want to size down.

If an M is too tight from Smith normally this is a great find. The L may work but this M is slightly larger and thus fits nicely with room for layers if needed. Love the magnetic closure. Color excellent. All the other stuff is normal with dual openings and music option, which i have yet to try.

seems like a bad idea but hey. My last smith broke on the visor and this seems less likely to do same. love tnf pairing — bag cool but come on — ykk zippers please for your most expensive helmet— seems no brainer. normally not a problem for north face.
