The perfect balance of performance and comfort. Designed to deliver the power and precision demanded by the most committed all-mountain skiers, the new RX 120 offers a racing pedigree with a more inclusive high-performance fit.
Features
Last: 100 mm – An average width last for those with average volume feet.
Flex: 120 – A stiff flex intended for advanced to expert skiers.
Bootfitter's Notes – The new Lange RX lasts are noticeably more relaxed in width and instep height than in years past - if you've had trouble fitting in a Lange performance boot before, you may find the new boots much more comfortable.
Dual 3D Pro Liner with Shin Control and Thinsulate™ – 100% customizable thermo liner with two types of high density foam and a precise, medium tension fit.
Dual Core Technology – A new "Power Injection" method allows Lange to inject two different durometers of plastic simultaneously through 5 injection ports, with the two plastics being directed to specific parts of the boot. The harder plastic goes to the heel, spine and lower shell to retain stiffness, while the softer plastic goes to areas that wrap the foot and lower leg for comfort.
Natural Stance – Lange's unique Natural Stance compliments modern ski designs, offering a lower ramp angle (4°) and more neutral, upright stance to increase balance and control for more efficient power transfer and less quad fatigue.
Forward Lean – 12°
Ramp – 4°
Canting – +/- 1.5°
Dual Screw Canting
External Screwed Cuff Alignment
Removable Spoiler
4 Aluminum Race
45mm Velcro Strap
Max Grip Alpine Soles – Replaceable bimaterial toe and heels offer increased traction and comfort when walking and can be updated when worn for longer boot life.
Purchased a 2021 pair of Lange RX boots. The St Bernard description stated contained Thinsulate. The product arrived with no marking of Thinsulate and a manufactured date of 05/20. As best as I can determine, Lange website not helpful, the change to add Thinsulate occurred from 2020 to 2021. Unfortunately, this has left me to figure out the situation. Will update if more information is found.
