Koperdell walking tips
Didn’t fit my sticks but I could get them to stay by picering the ends . Expensive after having to pay for the shipping. I am having a hard time finding tips that fit my sticks.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size Komperdell Rubber Walking Tip do I need?

Tips are sized by the diameter of the pole tip they slide over, and this style is offered in more than one diameter. Measure your pole tip before ordering, since customer feedback confirms a mismatched size will not seat securely.

What is the walking tip made of?

It is molded rubber, designed to cover the carbide or steel point of a trekking pole. The rubber grips hard ground and absorbs the wear that would otherwise dull or scratch the metal tip.

Why use a rubber tip on trekking poles?

A rubber tip adds support and stability on pavement, rock slabs and packed trails where a metal point skates. It also quiets the pole and protects floors, decks and vehicle interiors during transport.

Will this tip work on other brands of pole?

It is suitable for any trekking pole with a matching tip diameter, not only Komperdell models. Diameter is the only thing that governs fit, so confirm the measurement rather than relying on the brand name.

How long do rubber tips last?

That depends entirely on how much hard surface you cover. Check them for thinning or splitting before each trip, rinse off grit, and carry a spare pair on longer routes since they do wear through.

When should the rubber tip be fitted?

Use it on paved approaches, rock slabs, boardwalks and indoor walking. Pull it off and expose the metal tip once you are on soft ground, mud or snow where you need penetration.
