I was looking for a new ski jacket and saw where the HH Alpha 3.0 was always in the Top 3 of any ski magazines list of best jackets. So I was thinking about getting that one, but saw the Lightning for a much better price. I could never find what the differences are, so I went ahead and ordered the Lightning and love it. I'm 6'5", 250 lbs and normally where a XXL. This jacket is slim, so it's a little tight in the stomach, but the stretch material is great and it just shows me that I need to lose a little weight. The jacket itself is well thought out with many pockets to hold everything when you're not wearing it. I was up in Tahoe for a week and the first two days it was in the 50's. I opened the zippered ventilation on the jacket and it was fine with only a t-shirt underneath. Then a storm came in and it was around 20 degrees the next couple of days. One Base layer and another regular shirt underneath was fine. The jacket doesn't let any cold air in and was completely warm and dry. Still don't know what the difference with the Alpha 3.0 is and why it costs so much more, but I love this jacket now and don't really care.

Excellent Setvice
We had a mix-up where the cost Ibordered was being routed by the post office to the wrong street address. Chris worked with me and was willing to issue a refund. No static just customer service!

Love the coat
Haven’t had a chance to use it on the slopes yet but I’m looking forward to it. Fits great looks great. Lots of compliments from family. Stretch material is awesome. Price was way lower than other places. IMO HH clothing runs small (slim) but knowing that beforehand I just ordered one size bigger and it fits perfect. Two small things: the life pocket for your phone is on the outside but the slit to run your headphone cord is above the inside pocket?? No big deal to me cuz I use Bluetooth headphones but I don’t get it. Also, the wrist gaiters do not have thumb slits as advertised. Strange. I reached out to Chris at customer service who helped me quickly and efficiently. Turns out the product description direct from HH was incorrect. Again not a big deal for me. Good coat good price good customer service. Now let it snow!!
