These mules are made in Brazil. They are extremely comfortable and very well made. The color is a wonderful neutral light gray. They can be worn with a light sock or trouser sock. These mules can be dressed up or down and the style is timeless making them a wonderful addition to any wardrobe. I am, however, disappointed with how they showed up in the box from the store. It's obvious that this was a display pair as the right shoe is looser or stretched just a bit and you can easily see toe markings in the suede where others have tried the shoe on. Thankfully I got them on sale. Trask supplies light canvas shoe bags for each shoe to be placed in. When I opened the box the shoes were simply thrown in on top of the shoe bags and there was obviously no care taken in securing the shoes before shipping. For a shoe that retails at $248 one would think that Saint Bernard would take the time to pack them properly and not treat them as if they were pulled off the rack at some WalMart. This is my first time buying a Trask shoe and my first time making a purchase from Saint Bernard. I would certainly purchase a Trask shoe again but would pause before buying from Saint Bernard again.
