This boot served me well for 5 seasons of teaching and hard riding. That’s unheard of in snowboard boot life span. Common is 2 seasons and great is 3. I like the tm2 for its extreme durability and flex. When it comes to durability the over mold I believe helps this. I’m the type of person who tightens their binding till I feel the straps through the boot. And the back stay combined with articulated cuff helps stiffen then boot while preventing material break down which one the most important aspects to get right when looking for a boot that will last. This new Merrell double Boa while looking awesome also is 1.5 lbs lighter than the older models!
