I have only had these for a week, therefore my review is obviously not taking durability into account. I have a pair of Timberland White Ledge in size 9 that these replaced. The white face boots were to snug on my toes, scrunching them up, creating a claustrophobic feeling.
The North face hedgehog's have adequate room for a normal/semi-wide foot like mine. Additionally, the cushioning is excellent and so is the support. I wore them to work as a delivery driver for a pharmacy several times and these do have short term waterproofing even as they supposedly breathe.... This is supposedly attributed not the North Face's Futurelight technology. I have seen people complain on other reviews that the mesh wears outz reducing the effectiveness of the waterproofing. That rains to be seen for me. As for now, I am enjoying the comfort of these and look forward to some epic hikes here in Montana soon with them! Cheers from the Rockies!!!!

These boots are super lite and very comfortable. I would recommend these to anyone who likes to hike.
