Boots have a cush liner and conform better to feet. This season model is a firmer boot, due to the strap which is what I was looking for. If Burton doesn’t fit your feet well, then these Nitro may be your answer

This is my first pair of step on boots. The boots fit true to size and are very comfortable. No pain or pressure points on the first day of riding. I really like how the lacing system is customizable (lower, upper, ankle strap) and you can change the stiffness of the tongue.
