Coming from a pair of Burton Photon Step On boots, I wasn't completely satisfied with the BOA set-up the the Photons because it's not actually a dual zone system which resulted in too tight at the top of the boot and too loose at the bottom.
The Darkseid has true dual zone BOAs and I now can adjust the tension of the bottom of the boot and the top, independently. This really makes a huge difference in performance and response from heal to toe. The Darkseid are very comfortable as well and I get no heal lift. I'd say the fit is very similar to Burton regular width so if you know your size in Burton, it should be the same with the Darkseid. Very happy with these boots.
