I love love love them! I honeslty NEVER take the time to write reviews, but having gotten these shoes, I love them too much to not say anything. If you're teetering between if you want to get these or not, GET THEM! Seriously, top favorite shoes I've ever bought.

These shoes were comfortable right out of the box (although there are no insoles- not sure if Danner or St Bernard forgot to include them?). The upper leather is stiff on the ankles but no doubt it'll break in after several miles. I wear a 9 in a regular show and ordered the boots also in 9- they fit well with thick hiking socks. A half size down would've been too small ultimately even though that's what Danner recommends. High quality leather construction from Portland, not a cheap knockoff from another country. Love the boots!
