Slightly stiffer all-mountain snowboard binding with added performance, comfort, and ease of use.
Features
Snowboard Binding
Flex | Medium Flex – The happy medium of binding flex. Medium flex models perform equally on all terrain. Great for progression - responsive, comfortable and forgiving
Baseplate | Single Component 30% Short-Glass / Nylon Composite Baseplate – A high-performance blend featuring ramped up strength in a medium-flexing package. One material throughout creates consistent response and feel for all-terrain domination
Re:Flex™ Binding System – Offers more flex, feel, and cushioning than traditional disc bindings, in a package that's universally compatible with all current mounting systems, including 4x4, 3D® (via Burton Rider Service), and the Channel®. The minimized, cored base-plate with Living Hinge™ disc reduces the weight and footprint of the binding, while also bending freely for a more natural flex
Re:Flex™ FullBED Cushioning System – Offers full underfoot cushioning that maximizes comfort while minimizing fatigue. Anchored to the baseplate, the stealth trap door design makes it easy to access the mounting hardware
Highback | FLAD™ – The higher the Forward Lean angle on your hi-backs, the quicker you heel-edge turns. Crank them forward for icy hits in the pipe or back them off for jibbing. Tool-free and micro-adjustable for easy fine-tuning and maximum angle options
Kickback Hammock – A lighter weight upgrade to the heel hammock, this two-piece heel hugging hiback is literally suspension in a hiback. Dynamic interaction between an internal spring and rubber over molded hammock results in increased response and reduced vibration while your heel is cradled in complete suspension
30% Short-Glass / Nylon Composite – A high-performance blend featuring ramped up strength in a medium-flexing package
Additional Features | Compatibility – Must Be Used with Burton Step On™ Boots | Re-Ground Materials to Reduce Waste
Ability Level: Intermediate - Advanced
Binding Style: Step-On
Flex Rating: Medium
Binding Mount Pattern: 2x4, 4x4, Burton 3D, Channel

Your packaging is very good, I fell in love with it

I’ve been through 3 different Step Ons from version 1.0 to the much improved current version 2.0 toe hooks. I can confirm Version 1.0 had the annoying clicking sound and the toe clips did have some wear issues but by no means ever failed on me. I contacted Burton on the toe hook wear concern and their customer support has been all but exceptional. They mailed me 2 sets of toe hook replacements that arrived within the week after a quick online chat.
I got the new Reflex with 2.0 toe hooks and these are a huge improvement with the clicking sound now gone and mounting onto them is much easier. I quickly got the Genesis step ons last season and I LOVE it. Zero issues with it since with no wear at all on the clips.
If you’re still debating on getting the Genesis, get them!
