A completely new model. The Corpus Stretch jacket with Primaloft Silver insulation is ideal for resort, all-terrain and freeride skiing.
With its slightly shortened parka cut, this jacket combines a stretchy fabric and a solid shape, tracing an elegant silhouette while allowing very comfortable freedom of movement. The minimalist outer look is a perfect contrast to the warm silky inner lining with its repeat chevron pattern.

First off a bit on sizing - I am 6'2 and 190 and got the medium as Black Crows stuff tends to run a bit big. This is perfect for me but I bought it not intending to layer much underneath given its built-in insulation. If you run cold or like to layer, consider sizing up, but keep in mind the sleeves are going to be long. On to the jacket - incredibly thoughtful design, as most of BC's products are. I like the minimalism, the pockets are placed conveniently, with easy access even when wearing a backpack, and there enough of them without feeling like you are wearing a safari jacket. The insulation is great for Ice Coast skiing, probably too much for when temps are above 30 or so. Thoughtful details like a goggle wipe ft. a trail map of Chamonix that clips into the right pocket, a clip to keep the hood in place when not being used, and sleeve liners with thumb holes to keep the elements out of the sleeve are all welcome. Everything is high quality, as expected. Waterproof, with a soft touch outside. Only thing I haven't tested yet is the powder skirt, but it seems robust enough. All in all a great jacket for when the temps dip. Pricey, but the quality is outstanding, and with the cut and design, it looks good enough to wear around town when not skiing.
