Women's Uppsala Shearling Boot

Ordered my normal Birkenstock size and they fit well. Like other reviewers have noted, the insoles are not shearling, and don’t provide quite the same level of support as the sandals do. However, I thought the boots were comfortable, and I like the adjustable strap around the boot shaft. I did not feel a seam along the back that some reviewers noted was uncomfortable. The shearling has a strange pinkish tint, but I still like the boots, especially at the clearance price.

I love the shearling lining (especially in the delicate pink color that comes with the "Gray Taupe" boot), and the trademark Birkenstock footbed makes these boots wonderfully comfortable. However, the suede outer does easily stain/scuff, so I would HIGHLY recommend getting something to begin treating them before wearing them even once!

They are aesthetically pleasing, and warm as if you have blankets on your feet, however not meant for lots of walking. I wore them while running errands and my feet hurt so bad after. Its weird because I have worn birks for years and my sandals are so comfortable. I will try insoles next, hopefully they will help.
