The coat runs true to size and traditional Barbour plaid but not heavy enough to be useful. Nice for dress-up but not for warmth.

We got this for our Irish Terrier boy, and he looks the bees knees in it and loves wearing it on his walks! He usually wears a small, but in this he absolutely needed the medium. The small seemed more appropriate for a toy-sized dog.
