I'm a true size 4 (straight/athletic build) and purchased a size 27. They fit perfectly. If you are looking for a more slouchy/loose look, size up one size. The length on these are just right - not too short or too long. They have just enough distressing without looking too sloppy. These will get a lot of wear for me!

These are awesome and the pair of shorts you’ll be reaching for pretty much everyday! I have the riley jeans in a 28 but had to size down for these. 28 were way too big and baggie in the front. 27 were perfect with a little room around the legs- which is what I want in shorts

Ordered my usual size. Slightly tight around the waist when I sit down, but will keep this size. Sizing up would probably be too loose. Great length and very flattering. Plus, shipped quickly!

I loved these. I could have sized down to a 26 (usually wear a 27 in Agolde), but the 26 wasn’t available and I like them enough to keep the 27. Great wash, length is perfect and mid waist.
