Women's Loungewear Bottoms & Joggers

Frequently Asked Questions

How should lounge bottoms fit and how do I size them?

Almost all lounge bottoms use an elastic or drawstring waist, so the waist measurement matters far less than the hip and rise. If you are between sizes, the smaller one usually works because of the stretch.

What types of lounge bottoms does this collection include?

The collection covers joggers with cuffed ankles, straight leg sweatpants, wide leg lounge pants, pajama pants, lounge shorts, and leggings intended for wearing at home rather than training.

What inseam and length should I look for?

Inseam decides whether the hem sits at the ankle, breaks on the foot, or drags. A cuffed jogger holds its length. A straight or wide leg lounge pant is cut long by design and pools slightly unless you are tall.

What fabrics are used in lounge bottoms?

Cotton jersey and French terry breathe and suit warm rooms. Brushed fleece is warmest and heaviest. Modal and modal blends feel smoothest against the skin. Silk and satin appear in pajama pants.

How do I stop lounge bottoms pilling and losing shape?

Wash cold and turn inside out, since the seat and inner thigh are where lounge bottoms pill first from friction. Skip fabric softener on brushed fleece, which flattens the pile. Tumble low or hang to protect the elastic.

Which lounge bottoms work outside the house?

A straight or wide leg pant in a plain color with a knit and structured shoes passes as ordinary clothing. Joggers work under a coat. Anything with visible sleep detailing or in satin is better kept at home.
