Frequently Asked Questions

What is Sunshine Tienda known for?

Sunshine Tienda is a vacation-inspired accessories brand built around a simple idea, to be vacation happy. It is best known for handmade palm sun hats and breezy beach pieces, produced through fair trade partnerships with artisans in Guatemala.

What materials does Sunshine Tienda use?

The hats are woven from natural palm using traditional palm construction, finished with cotton or woven bands. Cover-ups like the sarongs are made from lightweight 100 percent cotton, chosen for breathable, easy warm-weather wear.

How do Sunshine Tienda hats fit and how do I choose a size?

Hats are sized by head circumference, so measure around your head and select the matching size. Because the palm does not stretch, the brand recommends sizing up and adding foam sizing tape if you fall between sizes.

What does Sunshine Tienda offer?

The range centers on sun protection and resort style, including pinched-crown palm sun hats, flat-crown palm bucket hats, and cotton sarong cover-ups. Many pieces feature embroidered or striped bands in playful, colorful motifs.

How do I care for Sunshine Tienda pieces?

Store palm hats on a flat surface and reshape by hand if they get damp, since the palm is water-formed and air dries well. Cotton sarongs can be machine washed cold and laid flat to dry.

How can I style Sunshine Tienda accessories?

Pair the hats and sarongs with swimwear, sundresses, and linen for effortless beach, pool, and vacation looks. Colorful embroidered bands and prints make each piece an easy statement finish to warm-weather outfits.
