Frequently Asked Questions

What is Olympia Le-Tan known for?

Olympia Le-Tan is a Parisian house, founded in 2009, celebrated for its hand embroidered book clutches. Each piece reinterprets literature, art, and cultural moments as a wearable, collectible work of art made in limited numbered editions.

What materials and craftsmanship define Olympia Le-Tan clutches?

The clutches are built on a structured stainless steel frame with a cotton and wool canvas cover, hand embroidered in silk thread with felt applique. Every bag is handmade in Portugal, and printed interior linings vary from piece to piece.

What size are Olympia Le-Tan book clutches and how much do they hold?

The book clutches are one size, typically around 7.8 inches by 5.5 inches by 1.1 inches. Their structured frame holds evening essentials like a phone, cards, keys, and a lipstick, so there is no sizing decision to make.

What does Olympia Le-Tan offer?

The collection centers on iconic book shaped clutches with playful, illustrated covers spanning themes from Western and seaside motifs to festive food and drink scenes. Some styles add a detachable crossbody strap for hands free wear.

How should I care for an Olympia Le-Tan clutch?

Treat each clutch as a delicate collectible: spot clean gently with a soft dry cloth, keep it away from moisture and prolonged sunlight to protect the embroidery, never machine wash, and store it in a dust bag between uses.

How do I style an Olympia Le-Tan book clutch?

Let the embroidered cover lead by pairing it with simple, solid outfits, from cocktail dresses to tailored separates. Each clutch works as a conversation starting statement piece, and many owners display it as art at home.
