A random act of generosity first placed Alec Cameron on a surfboard. No instruction, no rules, just a board and an offer to give it a try. Alec's journey in surf and wake has been like this-nobody to show him the dos or learn him the don'ts. Alec taught himself the art of shaping, designing, and customizing boards by hand. Years of trial and error, experiments failed and tests passed, produced the Manana boards. Durable and light, flexible and strong.
