Lee Mathews, former illustrator and art director for Vogue Australia, started her self-named label almost unintentionally, sewing clothes for herself and her friends. It has since evolved into a quietly impressive operation, turning out swingy shirtdresses and top-stitched separates that are beautiful, functional and—best of all—timeless.
