Hot Chillys Base Layers for Kids & Adults

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Hot Chillys known for?

Hot Chillys specializes in high-performance thermal base layers built for cold-weather activity. The focus is keeping you warm, dry, and comfortable through skiing, snowboarding, and winter pursuits, with technical fabrics that layer easily under outerwear for the whole family.

What fabrics does Hot Chillys use?

The line centers on engineered performance knits, most often a Micro-Elite Chamois blend of 89 percent polyester and 11 percent spandex and an Originals blend of 92 percent polyester and 8 percent spandex. Both are moisture-wicking, four-way stretch, and often add UPF sun protection.

How do Hot Chillys base layers fit?

Base layers are designed with a slim, close-to-body fit so they layer smoothly under other clothing without bulk. They run true to size across men's, women's, and kids' styles, so ordering your usual size is the best starting point.

What does Hot Chillys offer?

The range covers thermal essentials like crewneck tops and tights for men and women, plus kids' and toddler styles including two-piece base layer sets. Warmth levels and fabrics vary, so you can choose lighter or midweight options for the conditions.

How should I care for Hot Chillys base layers?

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low or hang to dry. Skip fabric softener, which coats the fibers and reduces wicking, and avoid bleach and high heat so the stretch and moisture management stay effective wash after wash.

How do I wear Hot Chillys base layers?

Wear them as a first layer under ski shells, snow pants, jackets, and midlayers for cold-weather warmth, or on their own for high-output workouts. The slim cut and smooth surface make them easy to layer up or down as conditions change.
