Haight Swimwear & Dresses

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Haight known for?

Haight is a Brazilian swim and beachwear label founded in Rio de Janeiro in 2015 by designer Marcella Franklin. It is known for minimalist, geometric silhouettes and a restrained palette meant to work on and off the beach.

What fabrics does Haight use?

The swim styles are built from fine lycra blends of polyamide and elastane with UV 50 plus protection, chosen for stretch, recovery, and mobility. The cover-up pieces use open knits in polyester for lightness and airflow.

How does Haight sizing work?

Most styles are described as a classic fit in standard XS through L sizing, so ordering your usual size is the right starting point. Many tops offer adjustable straps or an adjustable back, which helps between sizes.

What does Haight make?

Bikini tops and bottoms across bralette, underwire, and vintage-inspired shapes, one-piece swimsuits, and a resortwear range that includes open-knit cover-up tops and dresses, shirts, and warm-weather separates.

How should Haight pieces be cared for?

Rinse swim in cool fresh water after every use, then hand wash separately with a mild neutral soap. Do not soak, wring, or machine dry. Dry flat in the shade, and keep knitwear off hangers.

How is Haight styled beyond the beach?

The label designs its swim to double as ready-to-wear, so tops layer under open shirts or with high-waisted trousers, and the knit cover-ups work as standalone dresses with a sandal or a low heel.
