Frequently Asked Questions

What is Florence Marine X known for?

Florence Marine X makes utilitarian ocean and outdoor gear built for real performance in harsh marine conditions. Rooted in professional surfing, the brand focuses on durable, technical equipment that performs from the water to the trail.

What materials does Florence Marine X use?

The line leans on technical performance fabrics like abrasion-resistant Cordura, recycled polyester, and 4-way stretch knits. Many pieces use bluesign-approved or OEKO-TEX certified materials, reflecting a focus on durability and more sustainable construction.

How does Florence Marine X apparel fit?

Most Florence Marine X apparel is cut in a Classic Fit and runs true to size. The elastic-waist shorts suggest sizing down if between sizes, while the UPF tops wear a touch trim, so size up for a looser feel.

What does Florence Marine X offer?

The assortment centers on ocean-ready essentials, including all-purpose hybrid shorts, breathable Airtex long-sleeve shirts, and hooded UPF sun shirts. Each piece is engineered for sun protection, quick drying, and freedom of movement outdoors.

How should I care for Florence Marine X gear?

For most pieces, machine wash cold and hang or line dry. Avoid fabric softener, bleach, and high heat, which can degrade stretch fibers, water-repellent finishes, and sun-protective performance over time.

How can I style Florence Marine X pieces?

Build easy, function-first looks by pairing the hybrid shorts with a performance tee or long-sleeve shirt and sandals or sneakers. Layer a hooded UPF shirt over boardshorts for sun coverage on and off the water.
