The inner boots are super comfortable on their own, and still much more comfortable than a regular ski boot when inside the hard shell. When fully buckled in, they feel like regular ski boots--plenty stiff side to side, though slightly more forward flex than expected. I do not expect to have any edge control issues with these, and they seem like they will be extremely comfortable on and off the slopes! Very well made, and good attention to detail.
