The Castañer workshop was founded in 1927 and transformed a humble, traditional shoe into a sophisticated product deeply rooted in design and fashion. A historic meeting with Yves Saint Laurent in the 1970s led to the creation of the first espadrille with a wedge. Today, after 90 years, Castañer's essence remains authentic, built on tradition, craftsmanship, and natural materials, with its products now enjoyed worldwide.
