Bart Koene began his career in the summer of 1986 selling hand sewn swim shorts on the beaches of Saint Tropez. When one of the girls helping him sell his bathing suits wrapped a piece of fabric around her head for protection from the sun, he got the idea to transition to headwear. Over the last thirty years, they have grown to sell winter accessories along with swim and beachwear.
