Arbor Snowboards | Saint Bernard

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Arbor known for as a snowboard brand?

Arbor is a snowboard and skate brand founded in 1995, known for pairing high-performance design with a deep commitment to sustainability. Its boards feature real wood topsheets and eco-minded materials, built with responsibly sourced wood, bamboo, and solar-powered production.

What materials and construction are Arbor snowboards built with?

Arbor snowboards use bamboo and wood Highland cores, real wood Powerply topsheets, bio-plastic and bio-resin, recycled steel edges, and fast sintered bases. Many models add carbon stringers for extra snap, and every board ships pre-tuned with natural wax.

How should I choose the right size Arbor snowboard?

Choose your length by weight, height, and boot size, then adjust for riding style: freeride and all-mountain riders often size slightly longer, park riders slightly shorter. Match the flex rating and ability level to your skill for the best fit.

What kinds of snowboards does Arbor make?

Arbor makes all-mountain, freeride, and freestyle park snowboards for men and women, spanning beginner to advanced. The line uses System Camber and System Rocker profiles with Grip Tech edges, and includes pro models from riders like Bryan Iguchi, Jared Elston, and Danny Kass.

How do I care for and maintain an Arbor snowboard?

Keep the sintered base waxed regularly so it stays fast, and dry the steel edges after each ride to prevent rust. Store the board flat in a cool, dry place, and have the edges tuned and base repaired as needed.

What do I need to ride an Arbor snowboard?

You will need bindings and boots matched to the board's flex: softer, playful setups for medium-flex boards like the Element and Swoon, and stiffer, more responsive gear for freeride models like the Coda and El Camino. All use a 2x4 insert pattern.
