A Shirt Thing Poplin Shirts

Frequently Asked Questions

What is A Shirt Thing known for?

A Shirt Thing is a women's label built around the shirt, offering poplin, stripe and printed silk versions of a wardrobe staple alongside a small number of complementary bottoms.

How does A Shirt Thing sizing run?

Fit follows the size chart on each product page, which is the most reliable guide for this line. Early feedback on the Dolly Twill Pant suggests it runs smaller than charted.

What fabrics does A Shirt Thing use?

The range is built on cotton poplin and twill for structured everyday shirting, with printed silk for the dressier styles, so the collection spans casual through evening.

What does A Shirt Thing make?

The line here is women's shirts in poplin, multi stripe and printed silk, plus a twill pant, so a full look can be built within the brand.

How do I care for A Shirt Thing pieces?

Machine wash the cotton poplin and twill cool and hang or press to keep the crisp finish. The printed silk shirt should be hand washed cool or dry cleaned.

When are A Shirt Thing pieces best worn?

The poplin and stripe shirts suit work and weekends, while the printed silk moves into dinners and evenings, so the range covers most of a week.
