Men's Sunglasses

Frequently Asked Questions

How should men's sunglasses fit?

The frame should sit level with the arms resting lightly on the ears, and the lenses should not touch your cheeks when you smile. Check the lens width and bridge measurement in millimeters against a pair that already fits.

What frame styles does this collection include?

The collection covers aviators, wayfarer and square styles, round and browline frames, rectangular sport shapes, and wraparound designs built for driving and outdoor use.

What is the difference between acetate and metal frames?

Acetate is a plastic that holds color and pattern, feels warmer against the skin, and can be adjusted with heat. Metal frames are thinner and lighter with a more classic look, and adjust at the nose pads and temples.

Which sunglasses work for driving, golf, or the water?

Polarized lenses cut glare off asphalt and water, which suits driving and boating. Golfers sometimes prefer non polarized lenses or specific tints so they can read greens. Wraparound shapes block light entering from the side.

How should men's sunglasses be maintained?

Clean with a microfiber cloth after rinsing off grit. Tighten hinge screws periodically, since they loosen with use. Store in a case and keep them out of direct heat, which softens acetate and loosens lens seating.

Can sunglasses be fitted with prescription lenses?

Many frames can be, though it depends on the curvature and lens shape. Highly wrapped sport frames are the hardest to fit. Check with an optician using the frame measurements before buying for that purpose.
