The 80XTi is the perfect all-mountain ski design, cooked up with all the right features. A healthy serving of All-Terrain RoX Technology, an ideal 80mm waist-width and a hearty metal laminate titianal sheet hugging a BioFlex 3 core.

  • All-Terrain Rocker: All-Terrain Rocker features an elevated tip for variable and soft snow performance, as well as camber underfoot for power, energy, and edge-hold in firmer conditions. Simply put, All-Terrain Rocker offers versatility and ease in all snow conditions.
  • Core: Strength and Structure: A K2 ski is designed with a primary core and structural layers that determine the flex along the entire length of the ski.
  • MOD: Suspension: Added on top of the ski s primary core is a secondary core called the MOD structure, which essentially acts independently as a suspension system, quieting the ride of the ski. The key is that the MOD structure does not change the overall flex of the ski.
  • Carbon Web: Increased Edge Hold - A raised X-shaped pattern has been added to specific regions of the MOD structure to support a Carbon Web. This X-shaped carbon support is furthest from the core to increase torsional rigidity, for greater edge-hold and grip. It works independently of the primary core so the overall longitudinal flex is unchanged.
  • Speed Rocker: Effortless Initiation and Accuracy: The addition of Speed Rocker or All-Terrain Rocker makes turns effortless with greater accuracy and edge hold.
  • Metal Laminate: Built from the base up, a metal laminate construction consists of alternating layers of fiberglass and titanal above and below the core. Metal Laminates provide damp, accurate, unshakable performance, ideal for expert and advanced level skiers.
  • Hybritech Sidewall: Hybritech is a unique blend of sidewall and cap constructions. The construction combines the accuracy, power, and performance of sidewall underfoot with the lightweight characteristics and smooth turn initiation of cap construction.
  • MOD Technology: High-Performance Suspension System Mod functions by absorbing vibrations and impact loads along the entire ski, providing stronger edge-hold and a higher degree of power and control. Mod is a secondary core that flexes and moves on top of the primary core, allowing the overall ski flex to be unaffected.
  • BIOFLEX Cores: All of K2 s women s skis use cores that feature a combination of Aspen, Paulownia, and Bamboo. BioFlex cores are comprised of strong Aspen wood underfoot, which is fused with lightweight Paulownia in the tip and tail using a specific interlocking pattern that reduces swing-weight and provides a smooth-flexing ski. For 2013/14, K2 continues to apply this technology through one of the following three variations of BioFlex, each specifically tuned to target different performance goals: Bioflex 3 - 80% Aspen/20% Paulownia - Increased performance, strength, and durability Bioflex 2 - 70% Aspen/30% Paulownia - reduced swing-weight with added performance Bioflex 1 - 60% Aspen/40% Paulownia - Added forgiveness with the lightest swing-weight
  • Marker ERC System: The all-new K2/Marker women s-specific ERC (Energy Response Contact) binding system is our widest ski binding system, with a 54% wider attachment. Thanks to zinc feet that extend toward the edges of the ski, the ERC system delivers greater precision and control on the wider-waisted Super skis. In addition to being wider, the binding stand height has been reduced by 12%, adding almost 10% in weight savings.
  • All Mountain: Optimal resort performance in different conditions and terrain.
