In 1865, brothers George and Joe O’Bryan returned from Civil War duty and opened the apparel business Duck Head, which soon became one of America’s most original and authentic lifestyle brands. Almost 150 years after it first began, Duck Head’s classic pants, shorts and knit and woven shirts for men are back and debuting in Dallas with local and family-owned outfitter, St. Bernard Sports. Meet the Duck Head team in person and check out their vintage Airstream trailer Saturday, March 21, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at St. Bernard Sports in Inwood Village with drinks, special Super Soaker duck racing games and giveaways.

Cut and sewn from closely woven tent material known as “duck,” Duck Head’s pants proved indispensable to hard-working Southerners. So durable and lasting, these canvas khakis proved to be tough enough for our brave troops during WWII, and stylish enough for the likes of Hank Williams. Decades later, you couldn’t credibly claim to be a real Southern Gentleman – or court a Southern lady – without wearing the distinctive label. The re-launch of the brand continues their quality craftsmanship and dedication to being made in the U.S.A.

“Our support and excitement for the re-launch of Duck Head matches our dedication to bringing the highest quality lifestyle brands to our shoppers,” said Wes Goyer, founder and president of St. Bernard Sports. “We’re looking forward to welcoming Duck Head to the community with a special day of events at our flagship store.”
